Storage
Wrap swiss chard loosely with a paper towel or kitchen towel and store in an airtight container or bag in the fridge. Wait to wash chard until just before using.
To freeze , wash, chop, blanch for about a minute, quickly cool in an ice bath, squeeze out excess water, pack into an airtight bag or container, and place in freezer. Freeze chopped stems separately for easier use.
