Storage

  • Refrigerate peppers in an airtight container or bag in the crisper drawer

  • Peppers can also be frozen to use later. For larger peppers like bell and poblano, remove stem and seeds, slice peppers, place on a cookie sheet and freeze until firm, then transfer to an airtight bag or container. For smaller peppers like shishito, jalapeño and habanero, freeze whole or sliced.
