Storage
Refrigerate peppers in an airtight container or bag in the crisper drawer
Peppers can also be frozen to use later. For larger peppers like bell and poblano, remove stem and seeds, slice peppers, place on a cookie sheet and freeze until firm, then transfer to an airtight bag or container. For smaller peppers like shishito, jalapeño and habanero, freeze whole or sliced.
